MY ARTISTIC PROCESS

My Artistic Process

The art of color pencil drawing is a time-consuming, painstaking process of using many fine and blended layers of color to produce the hues, shading, and detail I desire. The initial layers may be so fine as to be hardly visible, allowing me to cover the area I’m concentrating on, and gradually working the various colors into the tooth or texture of  the paper.
Below are some examples of the process which show different stages in the evolution of a drawing from initial outline to the the fully realized image.
